Making Progress!

The first week of Lounge operations for the new year is complete and the new web site is up and running. There has been a lot of work behind the scenes to keep the American Legion Lounge running smoothly, so I would like to take a moment to thank Kelly Bender for her ten years of outstanding service. She's been a tremendous help in transitioning the Lounge into the new year with new staff.

Also, huge thanks go to Tom Schramm and Emily Hansen for making the transition into the new year so successful!

Louisville American Legion Post 353 can be found now on all the major social media platforms with unique content. Our Pinterest page, for example, is a great resource for military and flag art with more content being added weekly. Pay attention to our Facebook Page and Twitter feed for important updates and event invitations and news. We have a YouTube channel as well, where, soon, we'll be adding video content.

The blog here will be updated weekly with important news and information regarding Legion membership, local club news, news affecting veterans, guest editorials, interviews and profiles.

As soon as February, the Legion Lounge will have it's first food night. Planning is now underway for new and unique events, raffles and event nights.

We are always looking for volunteers! Contact us if you'd like to help out planning, organizing or executing one of our new and exciting events or if there is a subject you'd like to see addressed in our blog.
